One large shape can be a container or a guide, like the circle at the top.
Next question – what to put in it?
I take a shape, this time it’s a triangle, and put it in the circle.
How would you tackle it?
I could’ve put smaller triangles in but wanted to play with that sized triangle. I made another seven to see what they looked like fanned inside the circle.
That’s more like it! Plenty to color and looks interesting.
What would you do with the big triangle at the front?
I could’ve drawn lines across it to show outlines of the triangles underneath to make it seem transparent.
I wanted it to be a container like the circle so I made a small triangle 5% of the size of the big triangle.
Not enough so I went nuts with the small triangles making a pile of them then just played with them. I put points together, sides together, then transferred it to a graphics program because tiny paper triangles were getting into everything. And I was walking them through the house.
Came up with this:
Intriguing design and I could’ve finished there but I wanted to break it down a little with the graphics program, and got this:
How about you? Which do you prefer?
